China’s national electricity consumption up 12.2 percent in H1

 As stated by China's National Bureau of Energy on July 14, the country's national electricity consumption in the first half of this year reached 2251.5 billion kWh, a year-on-year increase of 12.2 percent, including 396.5 billion kWh in June, up 13.0 percent year on year.
 
In the first half of this year, electricity consumption of primary industry in China reached 47.5 billion KWh, a year-on-year increase of 5.9 percent, electricity consumption of domestic secondary industry reached 1696.1 billion KWh, up 11.9 percent year on year, while electricity consumption of tertiary industry reached 238.4 billion KWh, with a year-on-year increase of 1.53 percent.
