China's monthly trade surplus exceeds $20 billion for the first time

SteelOrbis Shanghai According to the latest statistics published by Chinese customs on November 8, the Chinese monthly trade surplus reached $23.83 billion in October, thus exceeding the $20 billion mark for the first time ever. China's cumulative trade surplus totaled $133.62 billion from January to October. In the first ten months of this year, total Chinese imports and exports amounted to $1.42495 trillion, up 24.1 percent year on year. Of this figure, exports totaled $779.2850 billion while imports reached $645.6650 billion, up 26.8 percent and 20.9 percent year on year respectively.
