China’s foreign trade value up 22 percent in January

In January this year, China’s total foreign trade value amounted to $380.698 billion, indicating a year-on-year rise of 22.0 percent, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities on February 8. In the given month, the total value of China’s exports amounted to $200.519 billion, increasing by 11.0 percent year on year, while Chinese imports totaled $180.179 billion in value, rising by 36.9 percent year on year, resulting in a trade surplus of $20.34 billion.
