China’s fixed asset investments increase by 5.9 percent in 2018

In 2018, total fixed asset investments (excluding rural households) in China amounted to RMB 63.5636 trillion ($9.28 trillion), up 5.9 percent year on year, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), with the year-on-year increase rate in question remaining stable compared to that recorded for the January-November period of the same year. In December alone, fixed asset investments (excluding rural households) in China increased by 0.42 percent month on month.

In 2018, total fixed asset investment in China's mining sector was up 4.1 percent year on year, while fixed asset investment in China's manufacturing sector rose by 9.5 percent year on year.
