China’s finished steel exports down 10.7 percent in January-September

In September this year, China exported 5.95 million mt of finished steel, up 1.3 percent month on month and increasing by 15.8 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities on October 12.

In September, China exported 531,000 mt of metallurgical coke, decreasing by 32.6 percent month on month and up 13 percent year on year.

In the January-September period of the current year, China exported 53.08 million mt of finished steel, down 10.7 percent, while it exported 6.92 million mt of coke, increasing by 20.6 percent, both year on year.
