According to the data released by the Chinese customs authorities, China's crude oil imports in November increased 0.5 percent year on year to 13.61 million mt. From January to November, the crude oil imports totaled 150.29 million mt, up 12.4 percent compared with the same period last year. Meanwhile, the imports of diesel oil reached 196,534 mt in November, up 34.7 percent year on year; while the imports of gasoline for the same month decreased 43.2 percent to 222,039 mt.

The strong increase in global crude oil prices have led the imports to slow down in recent months.
