In November this year, China exported 970,000 mt of metallurgical coke, up 4.0 percent year on year, according to the monthly import and export data issued by the Chinese customs authorities. Meanwhile, in November, China exported 110,000 mt of coking coal, up 4.1 percent year on year.
In the January-November period this year, China’s metallurgical coke exports totaled 7.05 million mt, declining by 23.5 percent year on year, while its coking coal exports amounted to 2.28 million mt, up 119.2 percent year on year.
