China's August raw coal production up 8.3 percent on last year

In August China's raw coal production remained above the level of 200 million mt for the fifth successive month - as disclosed by the National Development and Reform Commission.

Total national raw coal production in August reached 203.5 million mt, up 8.3 percent year on year. Of this figure, exports accounted for 5.004 million mt - down 8.7 percent year on year but up 135,000 mt on the previous month.
