China, Uzbekistan ink cooperation treaty

Uzbekistani President Islam Karimov met with Chinese President Hu Jinta in Beijing yesterday to sign various agreements to expand cooperation between the two Asian nations. The 14 agreements inked by Karimov and Jintao call for both countries to cooperate more fully in the oil, gas, mining, telecommunication and transportation sectors.
