China supports Russia’s entry to WTO

Chinese officials have recently announced that they support Russia's entry to World Trade Organization (WTO). The officials from China stated during the meetings held with officials from Russia that, they will be pleased with signing a bilateral agreement with Russia under the scope of WTO rules. At the meetings, certain proposal for improving trade relations between Russia and China were also put forth. Russia signed an agreement with European Union (EU) last week, which is expected to pave the way for Russia to enter WTO. It is stated that negotiations with Chinese officials will continue.
