China Shenhua Energy’s coal sales up 4.2 percent in January-February

Chinese coal miner China Shenhua Energy Company, a listed subsidiary of Shenhua Group - the largest coal company in China, has announced that in February this year its coal output amounted to 22.40 million mt, up 10.4 percent, while its coal sales totaled 33.50 million mt, increasing by 13.0 percent, both year on year.

In the January-February period of this year, China Shenhua Energy’s coal output totaled 47.00 million mt, rising by 6.9 percent, while its coal sales reached 68.60 million mt, increasing by 4.2 percent, both on year-on-year basis.
