China Shenhua Energy’s coal output up 3.8 percent in Jan-Aug

Major Chinese coal producer China Shenhua Energy Co., Ltd has announced that it produced 24.3 million mt of coal in August this year, up 1.7 percent year on year, while selling 38.8 million mt of coal in the given month, up 2.1 percent year on year.

In the January-August period this year, the coal output and sales of China Shenhua Energy amounted to 201 million mt and 321 million mt, up 3.8 percent and 13.3 percent year on year, respectively.
