China announced the list of temporary safeguard measures

China has announced the list of temporary safeguard measures, in form of quotas and additional duties on imported steel products. As per WTO rules, the developing countries are exempted from these measures as long as the exports from a developing country do not exceed 3% of total imports of a specific product. Steel billets have been left out of the coverage of the safeguard measures. CHINA: Temporary Safeguard Measures
