The Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) has issued its Economy of China-Analysis and Forecast for 2018, stating that the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) is expected to increase by 6.7 percent year on year in 2018, while GDP in 2017 is foreseen to increase by 6.8 percent year on year.
"Property development investment will be restrained by availability of capital, while tighter regulations to control local debt risks may slow growth of infrastructure investment," CASS said in a statement.
