The Institute of Finance and Trade Economics (IFTE) of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) has stated in an analysis of China’s macro-economic situation that the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) is expected to increase by 6.5 percent year on year in 2017.
Meanwhile, China’s consumer price index (CPI) is expected to rise by 2.2 percent in 2017, according to CASS.
