Canadian steel fabricator secures $5.1 million loan for expansion

MacDougall Steel Erectors in Borden-Carleton, Prince Edward Island, Canada, announced this week that the company has been approved for a $5.1 million government loan to help expand the facility.  The company manufactures steel buildings, 95 percent of which are destined for the oil sands in Alberta or further North.

The expansion is expected to be complete by the end of March.
