Canada releases preliminary determination on AD investigation against plate from Ukraine

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) has made an affirmative preliminary determination in regards to the antidumping (AD) investigation against imports of certain carbon steel plate and high strength low alloy steel plate from Ukraine.

The affirmative prelimninary determination means that the CITT found that there is a reasonable indication of injury to the domestic industry as the result of said imports.

Accordingly, the Canadian Border Services Agency is scheduled to make its preliminary determination regarding dumping by October 5, 2009.
