CAAM: China’s passenger vehicle output up 21.6 percent in November

In November this year, the output and sales volumes of passenger vehicles in China amounted to 2.2302 million units and 2.1968 million units, increasing by 17.4 percent and 13.4 percent month on month, while rising by 21.6 percent and 23.7 percent year on year, respectively, as announced by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM). In the January-November period this year, the output and sales volumes of passenger vehicles in China totaled 18.7352 million units and 18.6813 million units, up 4.20 percent and 5.9 percent year on year, respectively.
 
As for commercial vehicles, domestic output and sales volumes in November amounted to 314,000 units and 312,000 units, up 8.6 percent and 9.6 percent month on month, while decreasing by 3.7 percent and 1.1 percent year on year, respectively. In the January-November period, domestic output and sales of commercial vehicles totaled 3.0887 million units and 3.1054 million units, down 10.5 percent and 9.7 percent year on year, respectively.
