In September this year, production and sales of automotive vehicles in China amounted to 1.8943 million units and 2.0248 million units, up 20.6 percent and 21.6 percent month on month, while decreasing by 5.6 percent and increasing by 2.1 percent year on year, respectively, as announced by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) on October 14.
In the January-September period of the current year, production and sales of automotive vehicles in China amounted to 17.0916 million units and 17.0565 million units, down 0.8 percent and rising by 0.3 percent year on year, respectively.
