Brazil's iron ore exports in May this year fell by 7.5 percent compared to the previous month, declining to 26.43 million mt. However, as compared to May 2010, the country's iron ore exports increased by 12.7 percent, according to the information released by the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade.
In May, the average export price of Brazilian iron ore was $136.5/mt - up from $126.9/mt in April and also up from $93.4/mt in May 2010.
