The Institute of International Finance of the Bank of China (BOC) has issued its economic and financial outlook for 2018, stating that, due to better demand and supply-side reform, it foresees Chinese GDP growth of 6.8 percent in 2017. Meanwhile, it expects 6.7 percent GDP growth for China in 2018, down 0.1 percentage point compared to 2017, citing the adjustment in the Chinese real estate market, tight financial policy and increased environmental protection inspections, which will bring uncertainty in terms of economic development.
