BlueScope to increase hot rolled coil capacity

Australian steel producer BlueScope Steel is reportedly planning to invest $70 million to increase its hot rolled coil capacity from the current 400'000 tons to 2.8 million tons by the end of 2006. Through the increase in the capacity, BlueScope Steel aims to expand its customer web both in domestic market and in Asian markets.
