BlueScope signs IT agreement with CSC

Computer Sciences Corporation, a leading global IT services company, said on January 22 that it has signed an information technology services contract with Australian steelmaker BlueScope Steel Limited, worth as much as $378 million. CSC will be responsible for managing and delivering IT services to BlueScope. The contract includes consulting, disaster recovery and systems integration. CSC has provided similar services to BlueScope since May 2000 and is the company's largest provider of IT services across Asia, New Zealand and North America. The contract includes a four-year base period and two two-year options. The potential value is $378 million if all options are exercised, CSC said.
