Big orders boost Baosteel’s OCTG sales
Chinese steelmaker Baosteel is set to beat last year's output of high quality OCTG products thanks to orders from China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC). The latest data show that CNPC has ordered 50'000 tons of OCTG from Baosteel, which is more than the company had ordered in the previous two years combined. CNPC's orders include N80 series casing pipe, BG80 anti-sulfureted-hydrogen oil pipe and 5-inch drill pipe. Baosteel recently delivered over 2'000 tons of N80 series casing pipes to CNPC's Changqing oil field.Big orders boost Baosteel's OCTG sales
