BHP Steel to operate under new name BlueScope Steel

BHP Steel announced today that the company is going to operate as BlueScope Steel Limited from November 17, as the new name found great acceptance among the shareholders, customers and employees.
BlueScope Steel will retain the same code, BSL, in
trading on the Australian Stock Exchange.
BHP Steel which was permitted to use the name for two years after the demerger from
BHP Billiton in July 2002, was required to change its name by 30 June 2004.
