Benxi Steel adjusts flat rolled prices

SteelOrbis Shanghai Benxi Steel adjusted its flat rolled steel ex-factory prices on June 20, 2006. The price of hot rolled products increased RMB 400/mt ($50). Now the price of 3.0 mm Q235 hot rolled coil is RMB 4,000/mt ($500), and 5.5 mm is RMB 3,870/mt ($484). Cold rolled product prices increased RMB 270/mt ($34). The new price of 1.0 mm x 1,250 mm Q195 cold rolled sheet is RMB 4,780/mt ($598). Galvanized coil prices increased RMB 310/mt ($39), and that of color coated coils increased RMB 600/mt ($75). After the adjustment, the price of 0.5 mm ST01Z galvanized coils is RMB 5,750/mt ($719), and that of 1.0 mm ST01Z galvanized coils is RMB 5,070/mt ($634). The new price of 0.45-0.49 mm TST01 color coated coils is RMB 6,200/mt ($775). 17 percent VAT is excluded from the prices.
