Benxi Iron and Steel passes Lloyd’s CE certification test

Liaoning Province-based Chinese steelmaker Benxi Iron and Steel has passed the CE certification test of Lloyd's, which approved the producer's quality management system.

The certification test focused on issues such as controls of standards for certified steel, contract management of certified steel and handling of objections; also on achievement of objectives of the producer's 1700 mm production line, production process control, equipment management, internal audits and management review, and the utilization of the CE mark and CE certificate. The steelmaker's technology center, sales department and quality control center were also inspected in the test which lasted two days.
