Bengang Steel Plates sees strong rise in operating revenue in Q1

Liaoning Province-based Chinese steelmaker Bengang Steel Plates Co. (Bengang Steel Plates), a listed subsidiary of Benxi Iron and Steel (Group) Co. (Bengang Group), has announced that in the first quarter this year it registered an operating revenue of RMB 11.132 billion ($1.62 billion), up 80.61 percent year on year, with a net profit of RMB 303 million ($43.98 million) compared to the net profit of RMB 41.106 million recorded in the same period of 2016.
