Baosteel Special Steel’s tool and die steel output hits record high in H1

In the first half of the current year, Baosteel Special Steel, a unit of Shanghai-based Chinese steel giant Baosteel, recorded a tool and die steel output of 35,599 mt, equal to 112 percent of the company's target for the period and constituting an all-time high tool and die steel output for the company in a six-month period.

In the first six months of the current year, Baosteel Special Steel's finished steel output reached 514,000 mt, indicating an increase of 65,400 mt or 14 percent year on year.
