Baosteel Group opens new resource company in Hong Kong

On December 21, Chinese steel giant Baosteel Group announced that it has officially opened its subsidiary Baosteel Resources (International) Co., Ltd in Hong Kong.

Xu Lejiang, president of Baosteel Group, said at the opening ceremony that the establishment of the new company is in line with the country's strategy of increasing its presence in overseas markets. He added that the new subsidiary will boost the group's efforts in the development of overseas resources.
