On December 24, Shanghai-based Baosteel Group issued the ex-mill prices for certain steel products for February. The details are as follows:
1. SPHC HRC prices have been up RMB 200/mt ($29/mt), while the SS400 HRC prices have been increased by RMB 100/mt ($15/mt). Thus, the price of SPHC 2.0×1250×C HRC is now at RMB 3600/mt ($527/mt), and SS400 5.75×1250×C HRC is pricing at the level of RMB 3500/mt ($512/mt).
2. CRC prices have registered an increase of RMB 300/mt ($44/mt), while DC01/BLC/BLD/DC03 CRC prices have been climbed up RMB 400/mt ($59/mt), and SPCCDT CRC and Welding Gas Cylinder Steel prices up RMB 500/mt ($73/mt). As a result, the common carbon DC01 1.0×1250×C CRC is currently pricing at RMB 3826/mt ($560/mt).
3. The prices of hot rolled pickled steel have surged RMB 450/mt ($66/mt). Finally, the SPHC 3.0×1250×C hot rolled pickled steel are priced at the level of RMB 3547/mt ($519/mt).
4. HDG prices have been hiked by RMB 300/mt ($44/mt). Now, DC51D+Z 0.5×1250×c HDG price is at RMB 4127/mt ($604/mt).
5. Electro-galvanized coil prices have seen an increase of RMB 340/mt ($50/mt).
6. PPGI prices have remarked an RMB 500/mt ($73/mt) increase, resulting in the current price of TDC51D (TSt01, TSt02, TSt03) 0.5×1200 PPGI at RMB 6287/mt ($920/mt).
7. Heavy plate and shipbuilding plate prices have dropped by RMB 300/mt ($44/mt). Currently, the price of Q235B 20-30mm×2000-2500mm wide plate stands at RMB 3800/mt ($556/mt).
All the above prices exclude 17 percent VAT, effective from the issue date.
