Baoji Steel Pipe produces steel pipe for India

SteelOrbis Shanghai On October 23, Shanxi province based Baoji Petroleum Steel Pipe Co. Ltd (Baoji Steel Pipe) commenced manufacture of high quality spiral submerged arc welded steel pipe for the Indian East-to-West Gas Pipeline. Baoji Steel Pipe is contracted for the processing work of 31,000 mt steel pipe, which can be classified into three categories: 610 mm dia., 711 mm dia. and 762 mm dia. Moreover, the steel pipes of each category also include several different degrees of thickness, thus increasing production difficulty. With this in view, the company has further enhanced and accelerated equipment renovation, laying a sound foundation for efficient production.
