Baogang wins contract to supply heavy rail to two key railway projects

Inner Mongolia-based Chinese steelmaker Baotou Iron and Steel (Baogang) has announced that it has won the contract to supply heavy rail to two key railway projects, namely, the Chung Li railway, which is a part of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Intercity Railway, and the Beijing-Xiong’an railway. The first phase of the contract to supply 6,000 mt of heavy rail to the two railways has already been signed.

In particular, the two railway projects have important political and economic significance, and can promote the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei Province, Baogang noted. The winning of the contract to supply heavy rail to these two projects is expected to further enhance awareness of the Baogang brand.
