Average second-grade coke price in China up 2.0 percent in early Feb

In early February (February 1-10) this year, the average prices in China of coking coal and second-grade metallurgical coke were recorded at RMB 1,350.0/mt ($201.8/mt) and RMB 1,908.3/mt ($285.3/mt), remaining stable and increasing by RMB 37.5/mt ($5.6/mt) or 2.0 percent, respectively, both compared to prices in late January (January 21-31), as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics.
