Average new house prices in 100 Chinese cities up 0.02% in April

In April of the current year, average new house prices in 100 major cities in China amounted to RMB 16,181/square meter ($2,342/sq.m.), up 0.02 percent month on month, maintaining the same growth compared to March, as announced by CIA, the largest independent property research organization in China.

Meanwhile, in April, the average second-hand house prices in 100 cities of China amounted to RMB 15,826/square meter ($2,290/sq.m.), down 0.14 percent month on month, 0.09 percentage point faster than the decline recorded in March, while down 1.28 percent year on year, 0.16 percentage point faster than the year-on-year declining pace recorded in the previous month.
