Average HRB 400 rebar price in China up 1.3 percent in early February

In early February (February 1-10) this year, the average prices in China of 16-25 mm HRB 400 rebar, 6.5 mm HPB 300 wire rod, 20 mm Q235 common medium plate, 3 mm Q235 hot rolled sheet, 219 mm x 6 mm seamless pipes and 5 mm x 5 mm angles were respectively recorded at RMB 3,939.7/mt ($588.9/mt), RMB 4,042.6/mt ($604.3/mt), RMB 3,971.1/mt ($593.6/mt), RMB 3,898.0/mt ($582.7/mt), RMB 4,847.7 ($724.6) and RMB 4,157.0/mt ($621.4/mt), increasing by RMB 50.2/mt ($7.5/mt), RMB 71.9/mt ($10.7/mt), RMB 50.6/mt ($7.6/mt), RMB 25.6/mt ($3.8/mt), RMB 35.3/mt ($5.3/mt) and RMB 30.8/mt ($4.6/mt), up 1.3 percent, 1.8 percent, 1.3 percent, 0.7 percent, 0.7 percent and 0.7 percent respectively compared to prices in late January (January 21-31), as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics.
