Armstrong Steel halts international deliveries amid increasing local demand

San Francisco, US-based supplier of pre-engineered steel buildings Armstrong Steel will postpone international deliveries by one month to meet rising demand in the US for their steel buildings.

The company said that although Armstrong Steel's delivery times remain strong (six to eight weeks), the demand is higher this year than predicted and will likely continue to exceed supply over the next several weeks as more consumers scramble to order before the forecasted 30 percent increase by the end of the year. Pointing out that a large number of Armstrong Building pre-orders have been taken for delivery by the end of August, the company announced its decision to postpone international deliveries by two weeks.

Armstrong Steel will announce international scheduling in the coming weeks and continue accepting orders from their overseas builders and dealers.
