ArcelorMittal Temirtau’s crude steel output declines in H1

ArcelorMittal Temirtau, the largest metallurgical enterprise in Kazakhstan, has announced that in the first six months of the current year its crude steel production decreased by 18 percent year on year to 1.581 million mt.

In the given period, ArcelorMittal Temirtau's pig iron production decreased by 15 percent to 1.393 million mt, its rolled steel production went down by 12 percent to 1.429 million mt, its production of agglomerate declined by 12 percent to 2.596 million mt, while its coal output increased by one percent to 5.230 million mt - all on year-on-year basis.
