ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih prepares to build second concaster

ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, Ukrainian subsidiary of global steel giant ArcelorMittal, has announced that it has started preparations for the construction of its second continuous casting machine and a new ladle furnace as part of its large-scale investment program.

According to the company, the new equipment will have an annual production capacity of 1.4 million mt and the investment for the project is over $100 million. Construction is planned to be completed by the second quarter of 2018.
