Arcelor Sections announces September surcharge

Arcelor Sections Commercial, after reviewing the August scrap prices in the European market, decided to increase its scrap surcharge on all beams and sections, according to a statement released by the company. Arcelor announced that the new scrap surcharge will be €96 per ton effective for deliveries as of September 1, 2005. The August surcharge on the same products was €66 per ton.
