Arcelor Sections announces May surcharge

Arcelor Sections Commercial, after reviewing the April scrap prices in the European market, decided to increase its scrap surcharge on all beams and sections, according to a statement released by the company. Arcelor announced that the new scrap surcharge will be Euro 107 per ton effective for deliveries as of May 1, 2006. The April surcharge on the same products was Euro 94 per ton.
