Arcelor Sections announces June surcharge

Arcelor Sections Commercial, after reviewing the May scrap prices in the European market, decided to lower its scrap surcharge on all beams and sections, according to a statement released by the company. Arcelor announced that the new scrap surcharge will be €56 per ton effective for deliveries as of June 1, 2005. The May surcharge on the same products was €86 per ton.
