Henan-based Chinese steelmaker Anyang Iron and Steel Group Corporation Ltd has announced that it will be launching construction of its 3 million mt capacity cold rolling project in the current month of October, with commissioning scheduled to take place in October 2012.
The annual production capacity of the project will be 3 million mt of cold rolled sheets, with the total investment planned to reach RMB 9.88 billion ($1.49 billion). Upon completion, the annual output value is expected to surpass RMB 16 billion ($2.4 billion).
