Ansteel posts net loss of RMB 888 million for Jan-Sept

Liaoning Province-based Chinese steelmaker Angang Steel Co. (Ansteel) has announced that in the January-September period of the current year it recorded an operating revenue of RMB 41.563 billion ($6.54 billion), down 27.32 percent year on year, with a net loss of RMB 888 million ($139.62 million) compared to a net profit of RMB 923 million in the same period of 2014.

In the third quarter of the year, the company registered an operating revenue of RMB 12.571 billion ($1.98 billion), down 33.87 percent year on year, with a net loss of RMB 1.043 billion ($0.16 billion) compared to a net profit of RMB 346 million in the same period of 2014.
