Anhui SASAC transfers 100 percent equity in Masteel Group to Baowu Group

Anhui Province-based Chinese steelmaker Masteel has announced that State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Anhui Province signed the agreement about the free transfer of 51 percent equity in Anhui Province-based Masteel Group with Chinese major steelmaker Baowu Group.

Previously, the 100 percent equity of Masteel Group was held by State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Anhui Province.

After the transfer, Baowu Group will hold the 51 percent equity in Masteel Group, while Baowu Group will indirectly hold the 45.54 percent equity in Masteel
