Angang Steel starts mass production of grain-oriented silicon steel

On January 6, Liaoning Province-based Chinese steelmaker Angang Steel announced that it has commenced mass production of grain-oriented silicon steel, with the commissioning of its grain-oriented silicon steel production line which has an annual output capacity of 100,000 mt. Ansteel Steel has already commenced deliveries of the products in question to buyers.

In June 2009, Angang Steel started trial runs for mass production of grain-oriented silicon steel.
