On October 9, 2007, Angang issued ex-factory prices for November production of its flats. The details are as follows:
1. HRC
The ex-factory prices have remained unchanged compared with October. Thus, the new price of SPHC 3.1 mm x 1,000-1,199 mm x C HRC is still at RMB 3,550/mt ($472/mt).
2. CRC
The ex-factory price of <0.6 mm thick CR has decreased RMB 70/mt ($9/mt), while that of >2.6 mm thick CR has increased RMB 50/mt ($6/mt). As a result, the new price of ST12 1.0 mm thick CRC is now RMB 4,120/mt ($548/mt).
3. HDG
The ex-factory prices have decreased RMB 100/mt ($13/mt). Thus, the new price of St01Z 1.0 mm thick HDG is RMB 4,550/mt ($605/mt).
4. Color Coated Coils
The ex-factory prices have increased RMB 100/mt ($13/mt).
5. Silicon Steel
The ex-factory prices have risen RMB 150/mt ($20/mt).
The above prices exclude 17 percent VAT and are effective as of October 9, 2007.
