AK Steel presents new contract to AEIF
Negotiators for AK Steel Corp. and the Armco Employees Independent Federation (AEIF) met Tuesday to continue contract negotiations. During the hour-long meeting, the company presented a new contract proposal to the AEIF, who represent the 2'400 locked out Middletown Works employees. The union was told to carefully consider the contract and to communicate any changes they would like to see made in order to create a new competitive agreement. No further meetings have been scheduled.
