Peruvian steelmaker Aceros Arequipa saw its Q2 net profit fall 47.1 percent, year-on-year, from PEN 20.8 million to PEN 11 million, according to a document filing.
According to a document filing at the nation’s securities exchange commission, SMV, Arequipa’s net revenues in Q2 declined 2.7 percent, year-on-year, to PEN 532.6 million, due to lower sales prices.
The company’s gross profit in Q2 was PEN 107 million, 12 percent up, year-on-year. Aceros Arequipa’s EBITDA in Q2 totaled PEN 69 million, 30 percent up, year-on-year.
