Italian stainless steel and alloy steel producer Acciaierie Valbruna will invest €9 million by August next year in its Bolzano-based facility in order to upgrade equipment and machinery and to train workers at the site, as reported by Italian business newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore.

The Vicenza-based company also told the newspaper that about 120 workers at the Bolzano subsidiary, which employs 450 people, will be placed in temporary redundancy to a recent slowdown of Italian and European demand for the company’s products.
